WHP Channel 21 Aired Anti-Homosexual Program
Has anyone else seen "Silencing Christians" which was shown on the evening of June 10 on WHP-TV? If you haven't, you should go to the SilencingChristiana.com site and view the hour long national program. It is a inflammatory, bigoted, discriminatory propaganda piece which is designed to stir up Christians to act up against the "Homosexual Agenda".
I fired off an e-mail to the General Manager at WHP-TV and asked if he had or will have a showing for pro-homosexual groups for them to view and to react to the program. No response to date.
I think a call to arms is needed. We can't let this crap pollute the airwaves and poison minds in Central PA. I would hope that some gay activists see this post and get busy with a protest or other appropriate action. How about a banner against the program in Pride Parade? Protest at WHP-TV or taped reaction to the broadcast. Help get the word out. I'll gladly help.
How hypocritical that WHP airs Ellen Monday-Friday and makes big bucks and then turns around on Saturday night and airs "Silencing Christians" to make more money. Years ago this was the "You can't call them 'faggots' until they've left the room" hypocrisy. Anita Bryant is still alive. Let's get busy!
